When I discovered photography, it seemed natural to use it to build fantasy and surrealistic images. I come from a backround of writing fiction, where anything from my imagination is possible.
In photography, you can make something real, even if it’s just for that fraction of a second when the shutter clicks. I love to create monsters and heroes, alien landscapes and fantasy worlds. It is a challenge to photograph fiction, one that requires hiking to summits, sneaking under bridges, and working with makeup artists and costumers to make a vision become a reality.
This is my vision of a reality that isn’t of a fiction made flesh.
