Day 198: Come UndoneJ.R. writes fiction, essays and games. Her stories have been published by Aoife’s Kiss, Kaleidotrope, Bewildering Stories, Static Movement Magazine, EMG Magazine and HeavyGlow Magazine. Her stories, “Conquest” and “The Merry Husband”, were published in the audio-book anthology Voices: New Media Fiction in March 2006. This anthology was edited by Mur Lafferty.

Her flash fiction won as an editors pick in the Escape Pod Magazine Flash Fiction contest. Her story, Dark Influence won as a Collectors Choice for the Sideshow Toy Flash Fiction Contest. Her satirical essay, “Evidence of a Baker” was published in The Gospel of the Flying Spaghetti Monster. She is one of the founding members of 365tomorrows.com, a webzine that produces a new piece of science fiction daily. In the four years since the site was founded J.R. has written over a hundred science fiction stories for the site.

Currently, J.R. is looking for a home for her first novel and writing her second novel. Her live -action zombie game, Shelter In Place, is available through Galileo Games.

    The name of my first novel is “Nightherders” and I’m currently working on finding an agent so that I can get it published. However, if I don’t find good representation, I promise that I’ll get it out there somehow, and that I’ll let you know about it.
